Excel - Sheet Tabs Missing
If your sheet tabs are missing, there are several possible reasons. To show you
tabs, try one or more of the folowing.
You may have large 'restored' sheet on a small screen. To maximise Excel and to
maximise your sheet:
1. in the top right coner of Excel click on the middle, 'Maximise' button.
2. at the top right coner of the sheet click on the middle, 'Maxiise' button.
If that doesn't work, do the following:
To switch on sheet tabs:
1. run Excel
2. click 'Tools' menu, 'Options' option then 'View' tab.
3. ensure that the 'Sheet tabs' option is selected.
4. click OK
If that doesn't work...
1. repeat the above but make sure the 'Horizontal scroll bar' is selected then
click OK.
If that doesn't work:
1. reboot the system.
If that doesn't work.
1. check your hard disk space:
- double click on 'My Computer' icon.
- right click on the C: drive icon.
- click on 'Properties' option.
- see 'pie chart' and figures.
2. if it seems very low - save space by:
- deleting files from your C:\temp folder.
- deleting files from your c:\winnt\temp folder.
- emptying the 'Recycle Bin' (right click on it the select 'Empty' option)
- uninstall unnecessary packages (do this with caution).
3. reboot the system.
